HowZat! Cricket
Project
British High Commission provided $10,000 to provide cricket
equipment for young cricketers.
Of this $5,000 was used to purchase cricket gear which was shipped
free through our contacts in the UK with Geest Shipping.
This was channeled through the Drug Education Unit into the
Sports against Drugs Campaign and together with funds from the
Australian High Commission equipped six teams to form a National
Sports against Drugs League.
The remaining money went to the carpentry project as above and
also funded a youth skills instructors work permit. |

The Greenhouse has produced lettuce and tomatoes and, in 2003,
the Taiwanese Agricultural Mission gave much needed technical

particular benefit to those isolated by their disability and parents
who were unfamiliar with the signs their children had learnt at The
School for the Deaf.
